The Met Museum in New York is featuring a new exhibit on Celtic design and weave from ancient to modern called “A Weave Through the Ages”. It will include artifacts from ancient Ireland and Scotland: illuminated manuscripts, tapestries, plates, clothing, jewelry to more modern Celtic inspirations: tattoos, logos, cloth work, rings, and much more. To give the show elements a feel that Celtic designs have been through many different eras, I have made the background look like aged paper.
Furthermore, the font I picked reflects the calligraphic feel of the
illuminated manuscripts and handwritten text.
